Daniele da Volterra

 

This lecture will focus on Daniele Ricciarelli (1509-1556), better known as Daniele da Volterra, along with a survey of the painter's mannerist works in Florence and Rome, including his intervention and overpainting on the figures of Michelangelo's Last Judgment in the Sistine Chapel.
