Medieval Florence 09 JAN - 03 FEB 2023 03 APR - 28 APR 2023
Renaissance Florence 06 FEB - 03 MAR 2023 02 MAY - 26 MAY 2023
Thematic Courses

06 MAR - 10 MAR 2023

(Grand-Tour Florence)

13 MAR - 24 MAR 2023

(Women in the Arts)

29 MAY - 23 JUN 2023

(360⁰ Florence)

In addition to our Medieval and Renaissance surveys, we run thematic short courses at other times of the year:

  • Join us in March for a one-week course exploring Grand-Tour Florence, along with our second installment of A Century of Women in the Arts, organised in collaboration with Calliope Arts, which explores Florence's 'forgotten century' from a woman's perspective . From the Grand Tour to the unification of Italy, from the foundations of feminism, to the advent of the partisans, meet the women who forged a century of change in Florence.
  • In June, we also are running 360⁰ FLORENCE which acquaints participants with the history of Florence through a series of historical walks and museum visits. The perfect introductory programme for new residents, students, or anyone who'd like to know the city inside out, and discover its many wonders.
  • November will see a three-week Renaissance edition of our popular lecture series Super Tuscans, devoted to artists and architects of the region along with their most celebrated masterpieces.
