Saturday Morning Visits run alongside our History of Art Courses and immerse participants in the history of Florence through a series of historical walks and museum visits. The perfect introductory activity for new residents, students, or anyone who'd like to know the city inside out, and discover its many wonders.

While the Friday afternoon visits are an exclusive component of the History of Art course programmes, Saturday morning visits offer a distinct opportunity to explore Florence’s artistic heritage. These visits are optional, operate on a sign-up basis, and are open to the general public as well as current students.
These concise, one-hour sessions are designed to complement the weekday programme by targeting sites that are often closed during standard weekday afternoon hours. They also provide a perfect entry point for those who are working or studying during the week but wish to engage with Florentine art history at the weekend. From the heights of San Miniato to the intimate corridors of the Convent of San Marco, these visits provide expert access to the city's hidden and "limited-access" gems:
