Piazza Ognissanti / Piazza Goldoni

This visit will explore the riverside area of Piazza Ognissanti, featuring the Church of Ognissanti (founded 1251, largely rebuilt 17th century) with its frescoes by Botticelli and Ghirlandaio, and the Lungarno Amerigo Vespucci. The walk then proceeds to Piazza Goldoni, a busy intersection with the Ponte alla Carraia (rebuilt many times, current form 1948) and surrounding elegant palazzi, named after the playwright Carlo Goldoni.
