In this Lecture Duncan Geddes, Professor of Medicine from Imperial College, London looks at Renaissance paintings through the eyes of a doctor. As well as pointing out some surprises, he concentrates especially on paintings of the Christ Child in the Uffizi, comparing them with others from San Marco and the Northern Europe.
