Meet the Author - Mark Anthony Jarman: Burn Man

Simon Gammell will be in conversation with Mark Anthony Jarman, writer of brilliant literary short stories.  Mark will read from his acclaimed new collection Burn Man.

Mark Anthony Jarman’s writings run the gamut from fiction to poetry to travel writing.  His short story collection, 19 Knives, was chosen as a 'book of the year' by The Guardian, and he has won numerous prizes for his books, including the O. Henry Award, considered the top prize in America for short story writing.  He teaches creative writing at the University of New Brunswick. Before becoming a teacher, Jarman worked as a truck driver and considered writing as a hobby.
