Herbert Percy Horne e la sua collezione

Lecture in Italian by Elisabetta Nardinocchi

Herbert Percy Horne (1864-1916) was an English architect, poet, designer and art historian. He first visited Italy in 1889, and later settled in Florence where he set about restoring the Palazzo Corsi in via de’ Benci, and filling it with the treasures of his collection. No sooner was work finished than Horne died, leaving everything to the Italian State. Elisabetta Nardinocchi is director of the Museo Horne.
