EU-UK relations after Brexit

Renaud Dehousse has been President of the European University Institute (EUI) at the Badia Fiesolana since September 2016. Prior to this, he was a Professor and holder of the Jean Monnet Chair of European Law and Political Science at Sciences Po, where he also directed the Centre for European Studies. After studying law at the University of Liège, he obtained a doctorate at the European University Institute.

Before joining Sciences Po in 1999, he taught at the European University Institute, where he led the Academy of European Law, and he also taught at the University of Pisa. He was a visiting professor at the universities of Florence (Cesare Alfieri), Lausanne and at the Law School of the University of Michigan. Renaud Dehousse was scientific advisor to the centre for study and research founded by Jacques Delors, Notre Europe. He was a member of several working parties on the reform of European institutions established by the European Commission and the French Government.
