Distinguishing Donatello
A lecture by Jeremy Boudreau
On the occasion of the 557th death anniversary of Donatello, the great Florentine Renaissance sculptor, Head of History of Art Jeremy Boudreau will explore the historical context of the so-called “Madonna di via Pietrapiana”, a terracotta relief recently placed on display in the Museo Nazionale del Bargello following its purchase by the Italian Ministry of Culture in 2021.
