Building a monument to Dante: Boccaccio as Dantista

Dr Jason Houston is Director of the Gonzaga University campus in Florence, where he teaches early Italian literature. In this talk he considers the relationship between two of the ‘Three Crowns’ of Florence: Dante Alighieri (1265-1321) and Giovanni Boccaccio (1313-1375).
The lecture will be followed by wine and snacks.
