The British Institute in Florence represents and continues to contribute to the rich cultural exchange between the UK and Italy. As a life member I derive great pleasure from my long term relationship with the Institute as well as the satisfaction of contributing to its future sustainability.

We invite you to join Loyd and many others in demonstrating your commitment to the Institute’s values, heritage and future by becoming a Life Member.
As an independent non-profit, which receives no public funding whatsoever, the Institute and its Library is sustained by our network of friends and supporters. It is this community that contributes so much to the Institute’s special ambience, its long history and its contemporary place at the heart on international life in Florence.
Life Members demonstrate their commitment to all that is special about the British Institute of Florence with a generous donation of €5,000.
In return they are assured a special place in the Institute’s community, as well as the benefits listed below:
- Unlimited use of the Library for life
- Special access to the Cultural Programme and other events at Palazzo Lanfredini
- Regular communications about the Institute from the Director
- Acknowledgement on the Donor’s Board in the Library
