Phelan Burgoyne Duo 

Florence based British drummer and composer Phelan Burgoyne joins forces with Kiwi rising star pianist Alex Ventling in a new duo project entitled Trinkets. The duo have been collaborating for many years and have perfprmed widely across Europe. In January 2020 they embarked on 10 date tour across New Zealand. Most recently,  in late 2022, the duo performed a series of shows in Norway and Germany.

The rich and percussive interweaving of piano and drums in the intimate setting of a duo opens the door onto a vast sound-world of possible colours and textures, giving the pair the freedom and space to explore and improvise together.
