Recruitment Day for
English Teachers in Tuscany
The British Institute of Florence is hiring English Teachers for the new academic year 2024.25.
When: 18th September 2024
Where: Viale Mazzini n.10, Firenze
Time: drop in between 10.30 and 12.30
What to expect: Come and meet our team!
Have a chat and a cup of coffee with some of our English Teachers.
Have a 1-to-1 conversation about teaching opportunities with the Deputy Director and the Course Coordination Team.
What to bring: A printed copy of your updated CV/Resume, references and your love of teaching.
If you prefer to email your CV to ggoepfert@britishinstitute.it by Friday 13th September, we will print it for you and have it ready for when you arrive.
Who: Qualified English Teachers in Tuscany
Essential Requirements:
A reputable TEFL qualification like CELTA or Trinity Cert TESOL
Native English speaker of any nationality
Employable under Italian employment law with the necessary permits and documentation and living in Tuscany
Desirable Requirements:
Educated to Bachelor Degree level
At least 1 year of relevant teaching experience
Experience in teaching young children aged 6-11
Experience in preparing for Cambridge exams

Requirements for English Teachers
Preferable: experience teaching any of these: Cambridge exam preparation courses, business English, English for tourism, teenagers and younger children ages 5 to 11.
