Graham Avery talks about the historical inscriptions that you can see in the streets of Florence. Learn about Charlemagne’s visit in 805, the fake news from Jerusalem in 1300, the death of the Venetian Ambassador’s horse in 1530, the prohibition of prostitutes and bad behaviour in the 1700s, and much more. Graham Avery is a political scientist and is currently a Visiting Fellow at the European University Institute, Florence.
