A Castle in Chianti – the Story of Sonnino

Wednesday Lecture, on Zoom and at the British Institute Library

We are pleased to launch our new partnership with Castello Sonnino, with a  fascinating lecture on its history by the present owner,  Baroness Caterina de Renzis Sonnino.

The wine tasting will be lead by Leone de Renzis Sonnino, the son of Caterina. He will present the DOCG Chianti Montespertoli, each wine and briefly talk about the manufacturing process and finally taste the wines with the audience. The tasting will be primarily focused on three points: bouquet, palate and food pairing.

If you are in Florence and would like to attend the lecture in person at the British Institute Library, please register here or write an email to bif@britishinstitute.it
Only the first 20 registrations can be accepted. Please note, only people with confirmed registrations can attend the lecture in person. The cost is 10 Euro per person.
