The monumental complex of Santa Croce, instructions for use - Narrating seven hundred years of history and building for the future

Virtual Wednesday Lecture, on Zoom

by  Stefano Filipponi

Santa Croce is one of the best known monumental complexes in the world. The heart of Franciscanism, Pantheon of Italian glories, crucial stop on the Grand Tour and later of modern tourism.

How to measure oneself against such a rich and articulated story? What present and what future for Santa Croce?

We will try to answer these questions presenting the new management and enhancement project developed by the Opera di Santa Croce, that has been safeguarding this place for centuries.
