Some 20th Century Literary Visitors to Florence

Wednesday Lecture, at the Harold Acton Library and online, on Zoom

As in the nineteenth, so in the twentieth century the city of Florence acted as a powerful magnet for all sorts of writers and literary types from the English-speaking world. In this talk, Mark Roberts recalls a selection of these, illustrating them with photographs and anecdotes.
