Sponsorizza il Programma Culturale

Sponsor our Cultural Programme!

The British Institute delivers a growing programme of cultural events in the beautiful rooms of Palazzo Lanfredini, overlooking the Arno. Currently we offer four main programme strands:

  • Wednesday Lectures       Wednesday evening in our beautiful Library with a View is the place to be for an eclectic mix of entertaining and erudite lectures followed by wine and nibbles!
  • Music al British       The Sala Ferragamo has a great view, and fabulous acoustics. It’s a fine venue for piano and chamber music concerts.
  • Art Stories   The Head of our acclaimed History of Art programme, Jeremy Boudreau, tells weird and wonderful stories from the less well known corners of Florence’s astonishing history in art
  • Talking Pictures …again!       A new series of really great Italian and British film classics, in original language with subtitles.       James Douglas will offer an introduction to each film.

And there will be many more programmes and special events in the future

We invite members of the Institute’s community to contribute to sustaining this most popular programme. We propose three levels of sponsorship, with associated benefits, as follows:
