Radical Renaissance Women
A Tuesday Seminar Series with Alexandra Lawrence
29 September - 3 November 2026
Tuesdays 18:00-19:30 CET

We are all familiar with the idea of the Renaissance Man—the polymath geniuses, scholars, princes, courtiers, writers, and artists who lived and worked between the fifteenth and seventeenth centuries. But what about the women who were excluded from the traditional canon?
Radical Renaissance Women revisits Renaissance society by exploring some of the less conventional and more radical female figures of the period: the creative, influential, and powerful women whose names have too often been omitted from mainstream history.
Over the course of this series, we will delve into the lives and achievements of nearly twenty remarkable Renaissance women whose fascinating stories are sure to surprise and inspire.
In person: €45 per session / €240 for full course
On Zoom: €35 per session / €180 for full course
