House of Secrets 2: Eccentricity and Debauchery in fin de siècle Florence

Wednesday Lecture, at the Harold Acton Library and online, on Zoom

by Alyson Levy

Allison Levy returns with the second installment of her voyeuristic look behind the famed façade of Palazzo Rucellai.  This lecture focuses on Lysina Rucellai, the twice-widowed Cossack wife of Giulio Rucellai, one of the most eccentric and uncontainable characters ever to occupy the piano nobile.
