Spine-tingling tales from the private library of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

26 September 2018 - 18:00

Lecture in English by William Zachs

This talk is about the speaker’s recent acquisition of books from the Library of the creator of Sherlock Holmes:  half a dozen case studies that both tell the story of his library and of his life and works.

The bibliophile and collector William Zachs applies his detective skills to books once owned by the creator of Sherlock Holmes, Arthur Conan Doyle (1859-1930).
