The State of Italy

How is the Italian economy really doing? Has Georgia Meloni's premiership been good for the country? How much longer has she got? Does Italy have any effective strategies for responding to climate change? And what's happening on immigration?
These and many other questions will be discussed by seasoned journalists and long time residents of Florence John Hooper (The Economist) and Jamie Mackay (The Guardian) as they survey the actual State of Italy now.
There will be space for plenty of audience participation, so come with your questions and comments ready.
Simon Gammell will chair the session.
If you are in Florence and would like to attend the lecture in person at the British Institute Library, please register here or send an email to bif@britishinstitute.it.
The registration fee is 15 Euro per person.
