Piano Recital by Maria Martinova

We are thrilled to welcome Maria Martinova back to the Library following her triumphant concert here last year.
Born in Bulgaria, Maria Martinova trained at the Juilliard School in New York and then the Royal Academy of Music in London. A multiple competition winner, she has performed in some of the most prestigious venues in Europe and beyond, including the Jahrhundert Halle, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, , the Barbican, St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall and Wiener Recital Hall.

A truly daring artist, she has established a big international reputation for her wonderfully inventive fusions of classical and more contemporary music - as is reflected in her programme for this concert:
