Study Italian language in Florence. Intensive course to help prepare students for the AS and A2 Italian language exam

EXAM PREPARATION COURSES

  • A2 overview course

"We have spoken a lot of Italian which I have found valuable, and we have gone over past written and oral papers."  (Katherine - April 2010)

"The lessons were fantastic, the teacher really helped clear up a lot of my problems and I felt much more confident with the topics we'd studied by the end of the course. The trips were ace too." (Katie - April 2010)

Our A2 Italian overview course is designed to help you with your exam preparation. It is geared to Edexcel requirements and combines classroom teaching with a range of other activities aimed at improving all four language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing. You will also have time to explore the beautiful city of Florence, and meet our Italian students of English Language.

The course includes:
Revision of language, grammar and pronunciation structures
Listening and Oral Presentations
Reading and Written Presentations
Exam practice/Mock examinations

These courses are tailor-made to your requirements. We suggest that the intensive course should comprise 15-20 hours of classroom activity  in one week, usually 3 or 4 hours per day (1 academic hour = 50 minutes) leaving you plenty of time to explore Florence. We can cater for groups and individuals at any time of the year. However, the most popular time for these courses is during the Easter holidays in preparation for the exams in June and these periods are heavily booked in advance. We can also arrange accommodation and extra-curricular activities such as guided museum visits, a lecture on Renaissance Florence, a pizza evening etc.

"I found the lessons very useful - I learned and revised an incredible amount over the course of the week - and I thought the range of activities offered was brilliant...All of the faculty members were friendly and it was a pleasure to get to know them. I would recommend this course to everyone because it was an incredibly useful week - indespensable for me in terms of my learning."  (Camilla - April 2010)
