Life and Cast Drawing

Through drawing from a plaster cast and then the nude model, students will become familiar with the drawing techniques that can be applied to life class studies. The aim of the course is to develop an understanding of the different approaches to life drawing, to learn how to manage anatomical structure and proportion and to develop technical versatility. Teaching is in English and each student will be given individual guidance and direction by the class tutor. All levels can be accepted, from absolute beginners upwards. The course comprises four hours of tuition per week, Tuesday and Fridays from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. Classes are held at the Charles H Cecil Studios at Borgo San Frediano 68 (Green Door) about 10 minutes walk from the British Institute Library.

Please note that it is not possible to take individual weeks of life drawing, you must take the full course which is 4 weeks.
