Florentine Frescoes

An exploration of the great art of fresco painting in Florence. Largely held on site in the city's churches and museums looking at the works of artists like Giotto, Ghirlandaio and Fra Angelico, this course also provides insights into painting techniques, materials and the challenges of modern conservation.
